Resolve BIND DNS Error

Have you seen the following error messages while trying to start 'named' service?

chattr: Inappropriate ioctl for device while reading flags 
on /var/named/chroot/proc
chattr: Inappropriate ioctl for device while reading flags 
on /var/named/chroot/proc/scsi
chattr: Inappropriate ioctl for device while reading flags 
on /var/named/chroot/proc/scsi/device_info
chattr: Inappropriate ioctl for device while reading flags 
on /var/named/chroot/proc/scsi/scsi

Then do the following to correct it:

root@server[~]cd /var/named/chroot/etc
root@server[~]chown root.named named.conf
root@server[~]chmod g+r rndc.key
root@server[~]/etc/init.d/named restart
=============

Done!!!
